2011 Launch Success

The 17th Annual Bike to Work Week launch was a huge success attracting dignitaries and participants from around Greater Victoria.  Some key announcements affecting cyclists were made:

Commuter Challenge car vs. bike race will be ONE WEEK early on Wednesday May 25

Province wide Bicycle tire & tube recycling by Tire Stewardship BC will begin in June

BCAA Bicycle Assist Program will be available FREE of charge to all BTWW participants registered in a workplace team

City of Victoria to Proclaim April 26th as GVCC (Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition) Day
